Who we are.

Managing Land for Nature and for People

Field Works was founded with a simple goal, to make biodiversity projects work for nature and for people. Between us, we’ve seen too many great plans lose impact because they weren’t designed with long-term care in mind.

That’s why we created Field Works. We aim to bridge the gap between planning and delivery, turning strategy into measurable results that last.

We bring together decades of experience in landscape management, ecology and stewardship, working with developers, landowners and corporate partners to deliver Biodiversity projects that deliver lasting value.

From habitat banks and stewardship to consultancy and biodiversity unit trading, our focus is on real results, not tick-box exercises - creating places that thrive for decades.

Our Story

What We Stand For

We believe nature recovery isn’t just about policy, it’s about people, places and the legacy we leave behind. Every project we deliver is guided by three simple principles:

Design with purpose - practical, evidence-led solutions that meet planning requirements and work in the real world

Deliver with care - managing land with integrity, transparency and measurable ecological outcomes

Build for the long term - ensuring every habitat we create continues to thrive for generations

We’re proud to be part of the growing movement restoring biodiversity and reconnecting people with the landscapes around them.

Why We Love What We Do

We love seeing land transformed from empty fields to thriving habitats that support wildlife and communities alike. We’re proud to collaborate with developers, planners and landowners who share our belief that nature recovery and development can go hand in hand.

Every site we deliver, every partnership we build, is a step towards a more resilient, nature-positive future.

Field Works. Delivering practical biodiversity solutions — designed, created and managed for the long term.
